Congratulations Raiders on our first Mythic kill in Battle for Dazar'alor! The boss fight was a joke. It only took us a handful of wipes. The mechanical changes from heroic included the occasional interrupt to prevent a full heal on the boss and dodging spinning hammers. Not necessarily the toughest to deal with, and so the boss fell over quickly. I look forward to finishing heroic with everybody and pushing further into Mythic!
Ayoooo for awful puns! Was that even a pun? Who knows! The boss is dead! A wonderful job by all those involved. We were close to securing the kill on our second night of progression, but came up just short. The good news is we came in Wednesday and killed him, so job well done! Once again I am very impressed, as we had another extremely low wipe count. It took us 80 pulls to kill him. I have seen some guilds taking hundreds of pulls to kill him, so good job everyone. While the fight was not as straight forward as Zul, it was still relatively easy. Nothing can compare to G'hunn though, so I hope you are all prepared! With only about a month left, we plan to extend until we kill G'hunn, then try and get a rekill so as many people as possible can get Cutting Edge. Onward, to G'hunn!
Congratulations everyone on securing the Zul kill! It was a surprisingly easy fight and took us just a single night of dedicated progression to kill him. In total we had 43 pulls before we finally killed him. That is an incredibly low pull count, so props to everyone involved for listening to our instructions and executing the plan to perfection! It is imperative that with only two nights a week we learn from our mistakes quickly and make as few as possible. We also only used 3 rogues to kill him! A few weeks later though they nerfed sub rogues, and his HP to compensate. Regardless, we killed him pre-nerf, so job well done everyone. Let's keep up the pace going forward to Mythrax!
Congratulations everyone on the Fetid Devouter kill! We killed it pre-nerf, which is a really big deal. The nerf took 10% health off of each little add and significantly lowered the damage of the knock-back and the angry debuff. Fetid was the first boss that really gave us some trouble. We had to learn assign each raider a position and fine tune our movement. People who had the big circle didn't move, while people with small circles and no circles had to move through the narrow lane. We also had to make sure we got knocked back in safe areas and didn't spread the debuff. On top of that we had to have some baller add DPS, which meant we actually assigned people when to use their CDs. Sure, that may have hurt your parse, but we killed the boss! After we killed the third set of adds cleanly we killed the boss, so job well done. It is important to always be doing the job you are assigned, as well as always be thinking ahead. Know where you are going to go with what debuff, or how yo have to perform a job given by the officers. Overall job well done and onto Zul! Special thanks to Koozi for going boomkin for the kill because we didn't have enough ranged.
Mythic Vectis has fallen before the might of Zernos Demon Bar! The fight was pretty straight forward. Pass off Omega Vectors properly, hand Lingering Infection stacks, dodge lines and soak circles! We did very adapting to the mythic version of this fight and killed it rather quickly. Well done everyone! Our rosters also stabilized, and we even gained people! Going forward we have the holidays coming up, and the bosses get a lot harder. We will start extending soon to ensure we can get CE. Remember we are trying to play everyone fairly, but we need to bring the strongest comp/group of players to kill the boss. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me! JOB WELL DONE!
Congratulations everyone on securing the Zek'voz kill. It took us a lot of pulls, but this was the first difficult mythic boss. Roiling deciet coinsicing with surging darkness caused a lot of issues. The good news is after seeing Phase 2 only a handful of times we successfully got the kill. Hopefully we can pick up the pace and kill bosses a little faster. Also thanks to everyone who has stuck around thus far. We could not have gotten this far without you! Onward to Vectis!
Great job on MOTHER everyone. It was another easy boss because of the strat we used. Not much changed from Heroic, and so we only took 17 pulls to kill it. Kudos to the healers and everyone that was involved in using CDs to keep us alive during the mass crossings. Overall we did very good. There were still a few silly beam deaths here and there, but I will chalk it up to learning. Also a major thanks to Fathren, who cloaked Cleansing Flame and allowed dots to tick her over while the rest of us were dead. All in all great job. This is very good progress for a 2 day 7 hour a week guild that has just formed for BFA.

First Mythic Boss in is dead. Congratulations to everyone in ZDB that made this possible. I know all of the officers, and I am sure a few guildies feel much better now that we have cleared Mythic content. We are a mythic progression guild, but we are also brand new. Brand new guilds are high risk investments, so I thank all the raiders and trials that were around to make this possible. As for the boss, he was a pushover. There were only two additional mechanics that were added to the Mythic Difficulty, and they were easily dealt with. As for the raid, I am please with how we progressed. Ideally, I would like to cut out a few of our sillier wipes, but such is life. Silly wipes happen. Everyone did very well. Let"s use this momentum going forward to finish clearing Heroic Difficulty and start progression on MOTHER! Logo done by Paxi!
